Community support

We are immensely focused on supporting local schools and sporting teams from sponsoring Tadworth Cricket Club and Kingswood Tennis Club through to organising an annual Charity Golf Day at Kingswood Golf Club raising over £180,000 for local charities close to our heart over the past 17 years, supporting the Kingswood Shetlands Assisted Animal Therapy who offer incredible support to children and young adults.

We recently received this email from them.

Just wanted to say Thank you to Kennedys’ for their on-going support . It has helped with our hay and feed throughout the year. We are attending the Children’s Trust on Wednesday at their Christmas Event which you are sponsoring.

Lower Kingswood Primary School – summer ‘Kingsfest’

We have raised money for Walton on the Hill primary school for their ‘well-being’ pod and have always tried to assist when additional funding has been required, most recently assisting with funds for stationary in year 6. Whilst this year, we provided sponsorship for the Lower Kingswood Primary School ‘Kingsfest’ Summer event.

Tadworth Cricket Club

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Tadworth Cricket Club which has seen huge growth in the past two years and also now has a dedicated girls team.

The club organises a charity cricket tournament on the first Sunday in July each year to raise money for the Tadworth children’s Trust. This was another great success and we were delighted to sponsor their Pimm’s tent this year.

The juniors had an incredible season in 2023, dominating their Tier tournaments and coming away champions.  Kennedys were there to see them receive their awards at the end of season bash and we were very pleased to cover a small part of the cost towards the prestigious prizes handed out on the day.

Kennedys’ Golf Day – Wednesday 28^th June

A huge thank you to all the teams that took part in our 16th Charity Golf Day this year.

The day did not disappoint!  As always, all 26 teams were in great spirits and  it was our absolute pleasure to host this event again at Kingswood Golf Club, who did an excellent job of looking after us.

I must also thank those who donated so generously to the auction and 1st,2nd and 3rd prizes as well as the support of local businesses who gave so generously for our raffle prizes.

So far we have raised over £11,000 and still counting. An incredible achievement by all those involved.
