Welcome to Kennedys' Independent Property Agent

Welcome to a new year, and the beginning of what is likely to be a busy first quarter in 2021.

Coming off the back of a frenetic property market for most of last year, which was created through increased demand and healthy supply, it is as difficult as ever to predict what awaits us in the months ahead. I suspect that we will see good levels of demand, as the general trend towards moving out of London continues, and equally those already living in this area look to move further out. Prices remained steady throughout 2020, perhaps with a slight rise in certain sectors, and so again I suspect this will continue to be the case through this year, particularly if the balance between supply and demand remains fairly equal.

I have made the decision to split my team in to two bubbles, working on a rotation system that will alternate between working from the office and working from home, thus ensuring greater levels of safety and continuity for everyone. We continue to adhere strictly to the government guidelines on property access etc, for the benefit of all parties concerned. We will of course monitor the guidelines carefully at all times and take our lead from Propertymark and The Guild of Property Professionals, but if anyone has any questions relating to this important subject, please feel free to speak to myself or a member of the team.

In June of this year, we will be entering our 18th year, and as we do so I am as determined as ever to ensure that we provide the very best in everything we do. In both our Sales and Lettings departments, we have large and highly experienced teams, together with the Land and New Homes department and of course our increasingly successful Discreet Marketing Services; all of which are managed personally by myself, and together with the support of the teams I am looking to drive the business forward in our pursuit of providing high quality service levels and the best possible marketing platform.

Whatever your needs might be in 2021, we look forward to hearing from you, and to being of service. If at any stage I can be of personal assistance, please don`t hesitate to contact me directly.

In the meantime, may I wish you all a healthy, safe and prosperous new year.

COVID Working Policy

• We have asked all our clients to let us know if they develop any Covid-19 related symptoms, should this occur we will stop property viewings immediately.
• The home occupier must not be present for the viewing (sitting at the end of the garden or in their car is fine) and we ask that all internal doors & windows where possible are left open, to minimise risk and physical contact with the property.
• We ask that no more than 2 people attend the viewing, they must be from the same household & must be the decision makers i.e. no children or relatives.
• Viewers must confirm, prior to attending the viewing, that they have not displayed any Covid-19 symptoms or received a positive test in the last 10 days.
• Viewers must wear a face mask, the Kennedys’ representative will also be wearing appropriate PPE.
• The viewer must be proceedable, meaning they are either under offer on their own property or don’t need to sell in order to buy.
• 2 meters distance must be maintained at all times.
• We ask that all viewers withhold from touching anything within the property.
